Low Rotor-RPM Warning Simulator
This is low-tech. It's a Robinson warning horn WAV
with a linux shell script that will sound it between 0 seconds and
- Download the files
- Put them in some linux directory. (If you're asking "What's linux" or "Which folder" -- wrong questions)
- Make sure horn_sim.sh is executable (chmod 755 horn_sim.sh)
- Run it ( ./horn_sim.sh )
- WHEN YOU HEAR THE HORN LEFT COLLECTIVE DOWN RIGHT PEDAL DOWN, SLIGHT AFT DOWN CYCLIC
- If you do this before the horn sound ends you lived from below 8000ft.
If you want to improve it, port it to other systems, make it better, or just use the sounds, it's all released
under the GNU General Public License Version 3.0 or higher. (GPL V3 or higher).
